Congress has released its manifesto for the assembly elections today on Tuesday. In this, a big announcement has been made for farmers and youth. In this, a promise has been made to provide government jobs to 4 lakh youth. Apart from this, 10 lakh youth will be given employment. Besides, it has been said to bring MSP law for farmers as per the recommendations of the Swaminathan Committee. Apart from this, keeping in mind the inflation and the interests of women, it has been said that the gas cylinder which was available for Rs 500 will now be given for Rs 400.
However, even before this manifesto, Congress has already issued 7 guarantees for the Rajasthan Assembly elections. This includes financial assistance of Rs 10,000 annually to women, gas cylinders to all for Rs 500, free tabs or laptops to the youth taking admission in the first year of government college, disaster relief insurance of Rs 25 lakh, and purchase of cow dung from farmers. Laws for the old pension scheme for employees and announcement of the promotion of English medium schools in government schools are included.
Key points of Congress manifesto

2. The amount of Chiranjeevi insurance will be increased from Rs 25 lakh to Rs 50 lakh.

6. By bringing RTE law in the state, education up to 12th will be made free in private educational institutions.
7. MNREGA and Indira Gandhi urban employment will be increased from 125 to 150 days.
8. Merchant Credit Card Scheme will be started to provide interest-free loans of up to Rs 5 lakh to small traders and shopkeepers.
9. Government employees will be given the fourth pay scale series with 9,18,27 and officers will be given the apex scale.
10. Villages and hamlets with a population of up to 100 will be connected by road.
11. Security guards will be deployed in every village and urban ward.
12. Housing will be given to every one by bringing a Right to Housing law.
13. A caste census will be conducted.
14. The schemes already running will be further strengthened.
Claim: More than 90 percent of promises fulfilled
Even in the last assembly elections, the public manifesto issued by the Congress was approved by the Cabinet and given the status of a policy-making letter as soon as it came to power. The government claimed that it had fulfilled more than 90 percent of the promises made in that manifesto.
