Ranbir Kapoor said, Dad had said - don't do a film in which you have to wear dhoti

Ranbir Kapoor's film Shamshera is about to come. He is making funny revelations during the promotion of the film. Ranbir's film is a period movie, in which he is playing a double role. Now he has told that his father Rishi Kapoor had advised him to never do period films. Rishi told Ranbir that he should always do commercial films. Ranbir told that his father had said that never do such a film in which you need to wear a dhoti.

Ranbir Kapoor is in a discussion about his look and body transformation in Yash Raj Films Shamshera. The movie is a period film, it also stars Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt. During the promotion of the film, he is sharing many interesting things with the media. When asked why he stayed away from period films during his 15-year-long career.
