Lawyer Aman Malviya has filed an FIR and demanded to stop the show India's Got Latent. Aman Satyanarayan Malviya, a resident of South Tukoganj, alleges that self-proclaimed comedian Samay Raina is serving obscenity in the name of comedy on YouTube.

Allahabadia apologized
After the video surfaced and controversy arose, Ranveer Allahabadia posted a video on Monday and apologized. He said in his video that my comment was not just inappropriate, it was not funny either. Comedy is not my specialty, I have just come here to apologize.
He further said that I was not going to give any context, justification, or logic behind what happened. I have just come here to apologize. Personally, there was a lapse in my judgment. It was not right on my part.
