The country's famous industrialist Padma Vibhushan Ratan Tata has passed away. He was ill for some time. After the news of Ratan Tata's death, a wave of mourning has spread across the country. Many leaders including PM Modi, and Rajnath Singh have condoled his death.

PM Modi wrote in his post, 'Shri Ratan Tata ji was a visionary business leader, kind soul and an extraordinary human being. He provided stable leadership to one of India's oldest and most prestigious business houses. Also, his contribution went far beyond the board room.'
"He became a favorite of many due to his humility, kindness, and unwavering commitment to improving our society. One of the most unique aspects of Shri Ratan Tata ji was his passion to dream big and give them to society. He was at the forefront of supporting some issues like education, health care, cleanliness, animal welfare."
My mind is filled with countless conversations with Shri Ratan Tata ji. I used to meet him often when I was the Chief Minister of Gujarat. We would exchange views on various issues. I found his vision very rich. These conversations continued when I came to Delhi. His demise is deeply saddening. My condolences are with his family, friends, and fans in this hour of grief.

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said in his post on X that I am saddened by the demise of Shri Ratan Tata. He was a giant of Indian industry known for his significant contribution to the country's economy, trade, and industry. My deepest condolences to his family, friends and fans.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah posted on X saying that the demise of veteran industrialist and true nationalist, Ratan Tata was deeply saddening. He selflessly dedicated his life to the development of our nation.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari posted on Twitter and said, "I am shocked to hear the news of the demise of Ratan Tata ji, a proud son of the country. For more than three decades, I had the privilege of having a deep personal and close family relationship with him. His life embodied the values of honesty and compassion, which have been a source of inspiration for many."
Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi said that he was a visionary who has left an indelible mark on both business and philanthropy. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge also expressed grief over Tata's demise and said that with his demise we have lost an invaluable son of India.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that very few people have left such an indelible mark on this world with their vision and honesty as Ratan Tata.
