The Delhi Police has made a big disclosure about the violent demonstration on the Red Fort during the Farmers Tractor Parade on 26 January on Republic Day. According to the charge sheet presented in the Delhi court in the Red Fort violence case, the farmers were preparing to take over the protesting Red Fort and build a permanent dharna site here. Another purpose of this was to discredit the central government by demonstrating here.
The Delhi Police has filed a charge sheet in the Red Fort case, stating that the incident was a conspiracy to make the Red Fort a new site of anti-agriculture. The charge sheet also claimed that Nishan Sahib over the Red Fort and the accused who hoisted the peasant flag were promised a hefty amount to do the work.
Recently, the Crime Branch of Delhi Police filed a charge sheet in the Tis Hazari court regarding the violence on the Red Fort during the Kisan Tractor rally held on 26 January. In this case, the crime branch has accused 16 people including Deep Sidhu, Iqbal Singh, Maninder Moni, and Khempreet. The Delhi Police has imposed serious sections like sedition, rioting, attempt to murder, and robbery on the accused in the charge sheet. If Delhi Police sources are to be believed, in the charge sheet, Deep Sidhu and Lakka Sidhana are the main conspirators of the Red Fort violence. Not only this but the names of many big farmer leaders are also included in the charge sheet. There are still many accused absconding in the Red Fort violence case, whose Delhi Police is engaged in the search.
Please tell here that a large number of Delhi Police personnel were also injured in the violence on 26 January. According to the police, more than 300 jawans were injured in the violence.
