Russia Ukraine War: The uproar over the bodies of 410 civilians found near Kyiv, strongly condemned by America, France, and Germany

The Russian military's actions in Ukraine have triggered intense condemnation after 410 bodies of civilians were found in Bucha and some other towns and villages near the capital Kyiv. The United States, Britain, France, Germany, and the European Union (EU) have strongly condemned Russia, considering it a serious war crime. While Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has condemned Russia for this massacre, the international community has demanded new sanctions on it. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said that his country will now increase sanctions on Russia and aid Ukraine. But Russia has denied involvement in the mass killings of civilians.

 

Meanwhile, Russian forces have withdrawn from the north of Ukraine, clearing areas near Kyiv and Chernihiv. But on Sunday, Russian attacks on eastern, southern Ukraine and ports intensified. On Saturday, the Russian army evacuated the area around Kyiv. But as soon as the Ukrainian army reached there, bodies of civilians were found in large numbers in the town of Bucha and some other areas.

Traces of vandalism found on dead bodies

 

The mass graves of about three hundred people were found in Bucha. There is anger among people due to the traces of vandalism on these dead bodies. Landmines were also found in the area, due to which the advancing Ukrainian troops suffered explosions. After the withdrawal of Russian forces, the area around Kyiv is now completely under the control of the Ukrainian government. The work of normalizing the situation in 30 towns and villages including nearby Irpin, Bucha, and Hostomel towns started on Sunday. During talks in Turkey, Russia had announced the withdrawal of troops from areas adjacent to Kyiv and Chernihiv.

 

Russian army attacks on ports

 

Russian missile strikes the port of Mykolaiv on the Black Sea coast. Similarly, Russian missiles have attacked the oil warehouse located near Odessa port. There are also reports of attacks on Maripol port. On Sunday, the Russian military launched a missile attack on the Ukrainian Army Air Command Center in Vasilkiev, located 50 kilometers from Kyiv. This center has already been destroyed by the Russian attack. Some activities were going on in this, they have also ended with the latest attack. The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital.

 

Russia's Defense Ministry has said its missile attack destroyed an airstrip in central Ukraine. Similarly, Dnipro's airstrip in the southern part of Ukraine has been destroyed. This has reduced Ukraine's air strike capability. Including these, 28 military bases in Ukraine have been destroyed so far. The bases to be destroyed also include two armories. The Ukrainian military said Russian airstrikes caused damage in Severo Donysk and Rubizhen in the Luhansk region. The Ukrainian military said it had thwarted six Russian military attacks on Saturday in the Luhansk and Donetsk areas.

 

Eastern and Southern Ukraine targeted by Russia

 

Ukrainian President Zelensky has said that the Russian army is targeting the eastern and southern regions of the country. She is trying to capture both of these areas. Our goal is to protect our land from enemies. For this we need anti-missile systems and other modern weapons, Western countries should send us these weapons soon. Zelensky said, "The Russian army has been carrying out brutal attacks for more than a month, but we have not only faced it bravely but also weakened it." Zelensky called the act of the Russian military a genocide.

 

Belgorod blasts

 

Two loud explosions hit Russia's border city of Belgorod on Sunday. It is the same city where a massive fire broke out at an oil warehouse on Friday and was blamed on a Ukrainian helicopter attack. But Ukraine has denied any such attack. Local officials have said that the blast took place in the village of Tomarovka. There has been no loss of life or property due to them. Officials have not given more information than this.

 

Russia hopes for a peace deal soon

 

Russia has indicated that a peace deal with Ukraine will be signed soon. According to the Kremlin, the office of the Russian President, the Russian military has achieved all the targets of the special military action in Ukraine. So now we can make a peace deal. This information has been given by Interfax News Agency.

The President of Lithuania, Jitnas Nausea, expressed grief over the death of Mantas and condemned the Russian attack.

 

On Sunday morning, Russian forces launched an airstrike on the Black Sea port of Odessa in southern Ukraine, sending clouds of black smoke over parts of the city. The Russian military said the targets were an oil processing plant and fuel depot around Odessa, Ukraine's largest port and home to its navy.
