Corona cases are starting to decrease in the country. There is also a decrease in positivity rate with daily cases. The positivity rate has declined by 5.6% in the last 6 days. The positivity rate on May 9 was 24.9%. That is, the corona was being confirmed in about 25 people in every 100 tests. The figure fell to 19.3% on 14 May. That is, only 19 or 20 infected are being found in every 100 tests. At the same time, a reduction of up to 10% was also observed in daily cases. On May 9, 3.66 lakhs infected were found in the country, this figure decreased from 40 thousand to 3.26 lakhs on May 14.
3,876 deaths on the previous day; 3.52 lakh people recovered
In the last 24 hours, 3 lakh 26 thousand 14 cases were reported and 3,876 people died. It is a matter of relief that 3 lakh 52 thousand 850 people beat Corona during this period. In this way, the number of patients undergoing active cases i.e. 30,754 was recorded. This is the biggest drop in data in the active case this year. Earlier on May 10, the number of patients being treated had decreased by 30,490.

Oxygen concentrator bank started in Delhi
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that we have started the oxygen concentrator bank from Saturday. We have set up a bank of 200-200 oxygen concentrators in every district of Delhi. For patients who are in home isolation, if they need oxygen, our team will deliver the oxygen concentrator to their home in two hours.
He said that if a person has a corona, but is not part of our home isolation for some reason, then he can call 1031 to be a part of the home isolation and ask for an oxygen concentrator. Our doctor's team will determine if an oxygen concentrator is needed.
15 days complete lockdown in Bengal
Because of increasing cases of corona infection in West Bengal, a full 15-day lockdown was announced. The lockdown will continue in the state from 6 am to 30 May on 16 May. During this time only essential services will be allowed. Apart from this, it has been announced to completely shut down the metro and bus services from school to college.
The Chief Secretary of Bengal told the lockdown that from May 16, all government and private institutions in the state will remain closed. Only emergency services will be allowed.
Inter-state bus service, metro, ferry service, gym, cinema hall, saloon, the swimming pool will be closed. Retail shops will be open from 7 am to 10 am. During this time people will be able to shop for essential goods.
According to the Chief Secretary, there will be a ban on teaching, cultural, administrative, political, and religious events. Not more than 50 people will attend the wedding ceremony. Along with private trains, taxis, auto services will also be suspended till May 30.
A record 20,846 new cases were reported in West Bengal on Friday. During this period 136 people also died and 19,131 people were cured.
Restrictions like lockdown in 18 states
There are complete lockdown-like restrictions in 18 states of the country. These include Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Mizoram, Goa, Telangana, and Puducherry. There are stringent restrictions like the previous lockdown.
Partial lockdown in 14 states/union territories
There is a partial lockdown in 14 states and union territories of the country. That is, there are restrictions here, but there are also exemptions. These include Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, Tripura, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, and Gujarat.

The state government has extended the lockdown till May 23, because of the ever-increasing corona cases in Kerala. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said on Friday that triple lockdown will be imposed in Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Thrissur, and Malappuram. Here the positivity rate is quite high.
Because of the increasing cases of Corona, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has appealed to the farmers to cancel their agitation. Farmers have been sitting on strike against the agricultural laws for a long time on the Haryana border.

1. Maharashtra
On Friday, 39,923 people were found infected. 53,249 people recovered and 695 died. So far, 53.09 lakh people have been infected in the state. Of these, 47.07 lakh people have been cured, while 79,552 people have died. 5.19 lakh patients are currently undergoing treatment.
2. Uttar Pradesh
On Friday, 15,747 people were found infected. 26,179 people recovered and 312 people died. So far, 15.96 lakh people have been infected in the state. Of these, 13.85 lakh have been cured, while 16,957 patients succumbed. Here, 1.93 lakh patients are being treated.
3. Delhi
In Delhi, 8,506 people were found corona positive on Friday. 14,140 people recovered and 289 died. So far, 13.80 lakh people have been infected. Of these, 12.88 lakh people have been cured, while 20,907 patients have died. 71,794 are under treatment here.
4. Chhattisgarh
On Friday, 7,594 people were found corona infected Friday. 10,444 people recovered and 172 died. So far, 8.99 lakh people in the state have been infected. Of these, 7.72 lakh people have been cured, while 11,461 patients have died. 1.15 lakh patients are undergoing treatment.
5. Gujarat
