1. Markaz Subhan Allah, Bahawalpur: This terrorist base has been active since 2015. It is also called the headquarters of Jaish-e-Mohammed. This hideout is associated with terrorist plans by JeM, including the 2019 Pulwama attack. The Markaz housed JeM chief Maulana Masood Azhar, Mufti Abdul Rauf Asghar, Maulana Ammar and members of Masood Azhar's family.
It was from here that Masood Azhar used to deliver several speeches spewing anti-India rhetoric and appealing to the youth to join Islamic jihad. JeM used to give regular arms, physical and religious training to its cadres at Markaz Subhan Allah.
2. Markaz Taiba, Muridke: Set up in 2000, Markaz Taiba was the 'alma mater' and the largest training centre of LeT located in Nangal Sahdan Muridke, Punjab, Pakistan. The complex had facilities for arms and physical training. 1000 students used to get enrolled in this Markaz every year, which highlights the role of this Markaz in preparing terrorist organizations for Lashkar every year.
Osama bin Laden had financed Rs 10 million for the construction of the mosque and guest house within the Markaz Taiba campus.
3. Sarjal/Tehra Kalan: The base in Shakargarh tehsil of Narowal district in Punjab, Pakistan is the main launch center of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) for infiltration of terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. JeM terrorists Mohammad Adnan Ali alias Doctor and Kashif Jan used to visit this place regularly.
4. Mahmoona Joya Center, Sialkot: The Mahmoona Joya terror base of Hizbul Mujahideen (Hizbul Mujahideen) is settled in Bhutta Kotli government center. It is used for infiltration of Hizbul Mujahideen cadres in Jammu region.
5. Markaz Ahle Hadith Barnala: Located on the outskirts of Barnala city on Kote Jameel Road, Bhimber is LeT's main training centre in Jammu and Kashmir and was used to send arms and terrorists to Poonch-Rajouri-Reasi sector.
6. Markaz Abbas, Kotli: This is an important terror base of JeM located in Kotli, Pakistan. Hafiz Abdul Shakoor alias Qari Zarrar, a close aide of JeM's top commander Mufti Abdul Rauf Asghar, heads this Markaz. Qari Zarrar is directly involved in planning and executing terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir and is wanted by India's National Investigation Agency (NIA).
7. Markaz Raheel Shahid, Kotli: This is the oldest training centre of Hizbul Mujahideen. It can house around 150-200 Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists.
8. Shawai Nallah Camp, Muzaffarabad: This terrorist base located near Chelabundi Bridge in occupied Kashmir is considered to be one of the most important camps of Lashkar. The 26/11 Mumbai attackers including Ajmal Kasab received terrorist training in this camp.
This camp is used for recruitment, registration and training of Lashkar cadres and has been running since the beginning of 2000.
9. Markaz Syedna Bilal: This is the main center of Jaish in occupied Kashmir, located in front of the Red Fort in Muzaffarabad. This base is used as a transit camp before launching terrorists into Jammu and Kashmir.
