Indian ODI team captain Rohit Sharma is spending time with his family these days after retiring from the T20 International and Test formats. Rohit, who won two ICC titles for India under his captaincy, recently visited Ganpati Bappa in Mumbai during the Ganpati festival. A video is going viral on social media in which Rohit is stopping fans from chanting 'Mumbai Cha Raja Rohit Sharma'.

In this video, Rohit can be seen appealing to the fans with folded hands not to chant 'Mumbai Cha Raja Rohit Sharma'. Rohit's fans usually chant this slogan after seeing him, and they did the same in front of Rohit, but the Indian ODI captain stopped the fans from chanting this slogan.

Can be a part of the series against Australia

Rohit, who scored more than 11000 runs in ODI cricket, was last seen playing for India in the final of the Champions Trophy this year. India won the title by defeating New Zealand in the final of this tournament. Rohit played an innings of 76 runs in the title match and was also selected as the Player of the Match. It is believed that Rohit will be seen playing in the ODI series against Australia in October.

India has to tour Australia for a three-match ODI series and a five-match T20 series. The ODI series will start from October 19 with the first ODI in Perth and its next two matches will be played on October 23 in Adelaide and October 25 in Sydney. Along with Rohit, Virat Kohli can also be a part of this series.

Rohit can achieve the feat.

Rohit Sharma has played 499 matches for India so far in his 18-year career, and if he is a part of the series against Australia, he can achieve a special feat. Rohit will become the fifth Indian cricketer to have played 500 international matches. So far, only Sachin Tendulkar (664 matches), Virat Kohli (550), Mahendra Singh Dhoni (535), and Rahul Dravid (504) have played so many matches for India. Not only this, Rohit will also have a chance to complete 20000 runs in international cricket. He has scored 19700 runs in 499 matches so far.
