On Wednesday, his father and actor Shahrukh Khan reached Mumbai's Arthur Road Jail to meet Aryan Khan, who was in jail after the petition was rejected in the drugs case. The meeting between father and son lasted for about 18 minutes. However, according to the rules, the jail administration is agreeing to a meeting of only 10 minutes. Aryan became emotional after seeing Shahrukh during the meeting. A prison guard accompanying them took care of them and then both of them had a long talk with each other over the intercom.
Aryan Khan has met Shahrukh Khan in a cabinet built in jail. There was Aryan Khan on one side and Shahrukh Khan on the other side between a glass wall. Along with Shahrukh, there are some people from his staff as well. However, he was not allowed to join the cabinet with Shahrukh. According to jail sources, Aryan broke down on seeing his father and kept crying for a long time. This is the first time since his arrest on October 2 that a member of Aryan's family has come to meet him.
Aryan's bail hearing will be held in Bombay High Court on Tuesday
Aryan Khan, son of actor Shahrukh Khan, accused in the Mumbai cruise drugs case, is yet to get relief from the High Court. Aryan said 'I am sorry' many times
During the meeting, Aryan was getting emotional several times in between. Shahrukh also stopped several times while speaking, but the glasses did not come off his face. If jail sources are to be believed, even Shahrukh could not stop his tears after seeing his son crying. After Shahrukh asked Aryan's condition, the two stood still for some time and kept looking at each other. During the conversation, Aryan said 'I am sorry to Shahrukh several times. In response to this, once Shahrukh also said 'I trust you'.
Petition to be filed in Bombay High Court today
As soon as the copy of the order was received from the sessions court, Aryan's lawyers tried to file an appeal against the dismissal of the bail application in the Bombay High Court, but this could not be possible due to the lapse of time. Aryan's lawyer will file the bail plea again today at 10.30 am. It is being said that after the acceptance of the petition, this matter will be before the bench of Justice Nitin Sambre in the High Court.
Aryan's lawyers now have only one week left
After Aryan's bail was rejected in the NDPS court, now his lawyers have only one week left. In this one week itself, he will try his best to get Aryan bail.
