This matter angered the Muslim youth and he entered the girl's house and strangled her to death. There is also a suspicion of rape before the murder. The accused has been identified as 25-year-old Mohammad Shariq, a resident of Bela village in the Madhubani district of Bihar.
Whereas, the name of the deceased was Mamta and she was 18 years old. Mamta was originally a resident of the village Malahpur, tehsil Beniganj, district Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh. Police say that Mohammad Shariq was trying to escape. The police produced the accused in the court from where he has been sent on police remand for two days.
Police say that there is a possibility of rape of the girl before the murder. For this, samples of both have been sent to the forensic lab. If this is confirmed, the section on rape will also be added.
In the complaint given to the police, the mother of the deceased Champa told that Mamta was alone at home on Monday. The mother had gone to work, while the younger brother had gone to school.
