Sub-contractor arrested in Delhi bike accident; left 'Kamal' to suffer despite witnessing the incident; brother makes serious allegations against the police.

In connection with the Delhi bike accident in Janakpuri, Delhi Police have taken major action and arrested sub-contractor Rajesh Prajapati. Police questioning revealed that the accused was fully aware of the accident; he had been informed by a security guard via phone call, but instead of helping the injured young man, he chose to ignore the evidence and the incident.

 

 

The subcontractor went home after seeing the injured man

Joint Commissioner of Police Jatin Narwal stated that when Kamal fell into the pit with his bike, a family passing by witnessed the incident. That family immediately informed an employee living in a nearby tent. The employee called his owner and sub-contractor, Rajesh Prajapati, to the scene.

 

 

The investigation revealed that Rajesh arrived at the scene that night. He saw the bike and Kamal lying injured inside the pit with his own eyes, but instead of informing the police or an ambulance, the accused Rajesh, showing insensitivity, quietly went home.

 

 

Arrest after questioning

Considering the seriousness of the case, Delhi Police took Rajesh Prajapati into custody and questioned him extensively. After not receiving satisfactory answers and finding his involvement in the crime, the police officially arrested him.

 

 

Other officials may also face consequences

Police are now investigating whether other officials of the Water Board or major contractors were also involved in neglecting safety standards. Police say this is not just an accident, but a case of criminal negligence.

 

 

Brother alleges: 'I have to chase the police myself.'

The deceased's twin brother, Karan Dhyani, says that no official from the administration has contacted him since the accident.

Karan alleged, “I am constantly asking the police to show me the CCTV footage so that I can find out what actually happened, but the police are stalling. More than 24 hours have passed, yet nothing is being told to me. I have to chase the police myself.” Kamal Dhyani was originally from Khandwadi village in Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. In Delhi, he lived in Kailashpuri with his father Naresh, mother, elder brother Sonu, and twin brother Karan. His father is a priest at the local Shiva temple. His elder brother assists with religious rituals, while his twin brother Karan works for a private company.
