When asked about Rizwan, Pakistan captain Babar Azam said, "The way the opener has played, it shows that he is a team man." He said, "He is truly a brilliant player. Captain Babar Azam asked Pakistan team doctor Najeeb Somru to tell about Rizwan's condition. According to Somru, "Rizwan developed a chest infection on November 9, after which he was admitted to the hospital. Where he was in the ICU for two nights. After that, he made an incredible recovery and was able to play before the match. Got fit for. It shows his great determination and spirit to perform for the country. Then we can see how he performed."

 

 

Somru said that the team management kept the information about Rizwan's health a secret so that the morale of the team does not fall, as the team was winning all the matches in the tournament by performing brilliantly. Regarding his health, Somru further informed that the decision to keep his health a secret was taken by the entire team management and it was done to keep the morale of the team-high.

 

It is worth noting that Pakistan's opener Mohammad Rizwan scored 281 runs in six matches of the tournament, in which he scored three half-centuries. His best performance in this mega event was an unbeaten 79, which he did against India.
