Many ministers including Anurag Thakur were present

On Monday, the last day of the 53rd Film Festival of India held in Goa, during the closing ceremony, jury head and Israeli filmmaker Nadav Lapid criticized the film while talking on The Kashmir Files and said that we are all disturbed that such a film has been rejected Shown in film festivals. This film is very vulgar. When Nadav said these things, during that time many big leaders including Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur were present at the function.

Ashok Pandit raised an objection

Nadav Lapid's statement to The Kashmir Files went viral on social media in no time. This statement of the jury head has been condemned by many. Filmmaker Ashok Pandit also took objection to Lapid's statement and tweeted, "I strongly object to the multiple languages used by Nadav Lapid regarding The Kashmir Files.
