China is continuously violating Taiwan's airspace. Taiwan says that 19 Chinese military aircraft have flown over its territory. Taiwan's Defense Ministry said on Wednesday that it had spotted 19 Chinese Air Force planes in its air defense zone over the past 24 hours.

Taiwan's Defense Ministry said it has tracked 19 Chinese aircraft that were flying in the Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ). After which a warning was issued to the crew aboard it.

According to a map released by Taiwan's Defense Ministry, 19 J-10 fighters flew over the southwest corner of the island's air defense identification zone.

Taiwan's democratically elected government has repeatedly offered talks with China but says the island will defend itself if attacked and that only Taiwanese people can decide their future.

What is the dispute between China and Taiwan?

China, which asserts its rights over Taiwan, has prepared the 'One China Policy' for this purpose. This means that there is only one China, which is ruled by the Communist Party headed by Xi Jinping. If any country wants to have diplomatic relations with China or Taiwan, then it will have to compromise with Xi Jinping only. Under the One China Policy, the country having diplomatic relations with China will have to end its relations with the Taiwan government. Own claim on each other's land and the One China policy is the main reason for the dispute between China and Taiwan.
