Terrorists planning to kill Imran Khan, anti-terror department warns

Terrorists are planning to assassinate former Pakistan PM Imran Khan and have sought assistance from an assassin in Afghanistan for this. According to Pakistan media reports, the Anti-Terrorism Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Wing has given a warning. A report in Pakistani newspaper 'Jung' states that the Anti-Terrorism Department has directed all the agencies concerned to take all possible measures for the security of Imran Khan.

 

An Alert was issued on June 18?

 

Quoting a senior police officer, the newspaper reported that the department had issued an alert on June 18. However, there were orders to keep the threat a secret and prevent it from being leaked on social media. The leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf have expressed concern over the threat posed to Imran Khan in recent days. PTI leader Fayaz Chauhan has said that I have information that some people have ordered a terrorist named 'Kochi' in Afghanistan to kill Imran Khan.

 

Shahbaz Sharif promised all possible security

 

Imran Khan is out of power for two and a half months after losing the trust vote. While in power, he accused the US of trying to remove the Biden government from power, although Washington denied this. Imran Khan had said in May that his life was in danger. After this, Pakistan's PM Shahbaz Sharif instructed the security agencies to give all possible security to Imran Khan to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
