New Delhi: The first patient suffering from corona in Delhi recovered on Saturday and reached home from Safdarjung Hospital. His name is Rohit Dutta (45), who hails from Mayur Vihar Phase-2. In a special conversation with NBT, I am now healthy and the infection has also gone away from my body. It is a real feeling for me to step into a new life. People should not be afraid and afraid of Corona. Take care and take special care of your health and cleanliness.
Rohit said that the isolation ward was better than the VIP room of any private ward. Plain and better food was available there. Used to talk to family members too. Watched two movies on Netflix. Read Chanakya's books. Followed the news, watching what was going on on social media.
Rohit said that the day of Holi was definitely a bit disconcerting for him, because for the first time on this day he was alone in the hospital, away from his family. Although most talk was happening on the phone, there also seemed to be a vacuum. At the same time, something happened that his complete despair disappeared.
Rohit told that he was missing everyone and was thinking that along with Holi, somehow this corona could also be burnt. At the same time, the video call of Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Union Health Minister himself, came. Seeing this, Rohit got a shocking, but pleasant feeling. He told that the Health Minister, wishing him a happy Holi, asked him about his well-being, took his feedback about hospital arrangements and treatment and encouraged him by saying that he would soon be able to go to his house.
Rohit said that during that video call of about 10-12 minutes, when Dr. Harsh Vardhan told him that the Prime Minister also wanted to know his well being and he also wished him to get well soon, he was very happy to hear this . Rohit said that the whole nation was watching me at that time. Everyone seemed to know whether I would even be able to return home or not, but the doctors were confident that nothing would happen to me. Every condition of mine was being closely monitored. Rohit praised the efforts being made by the government to control the corona and said that I remember so much that Harsh Vardhan ji was the first health minister when he made the country polio free and this time he made the country corona Will remain free. For this, the government is taking all necessary steps. He told that during the treatment, he was constantly recovering and he was feeling this inside also. Meanwhile, on 9 and 11 March, their samples were sent again for investigation and when the reports of both came negative, they were discharged only on the 14th.
Stay home for 14 days now
Doctors have advised them to stay indoors for the next 14 days. However, now he is completely free from viruses. He said that soon after recovering, he will first go to those places where his family and friends have made a vow to recover. Only then will he join his office. He said that I want to tell the people of Delhi that do not be afraid and do not sit in the house closed. Get out, but also take full care and if there are any symptoms of corona, then go to the hospital immediately. He has also advised not to heed the rumors. They say that if you are sitting in the house hiding, then you are doing wrong for yourself and your family. This is a disease in which you can return fully fit after getting the right medicine and the right supervision of the doctor. This disease can be cured completely and I am a living example of it.
Rohit Dutta said that the government has made excellent arrangements to investigate suspected patients of corona in RML Hospital. A checkin counter remains. A form has to be filled there. After that they refer you to the doctor for examination. After giving the sample, the investigation reveals whether the corona has occurred. Rohit said that some people are spreading rumors that blood samples are taken to investigate Corona, but there is nothing like that. Only a swab of nose and throat is given as a sample, which the doctors remove in such a good way that it is not known.
Rohit had positive symptoms, so doctors advised him to stay in the hospital. Sent them to a ward, which was neat and orderly. After a day's stay on March 1, when his report came back positive. He was immediately shifted from ambulance to Safdarjung Hospital for treatment. Rohit said that there was some nervousness, but the doctors of Safdarjung Hospital gave them great relief on the first day, saying that nothing happened to you. It is like a common cough and fever. Just, it will take some time to recover and it does not spread to others, so you will have to stay here. No need to panic. This matter of the doctors made a positive impact on him and all his fears were overcome. He was also relieved by the news of reports of his family members, sons and other children studying in his school coming negative.
