After the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, the threat of gang war increased in the jails of Punjab. Gangster groups are threatening each other. Because of this, the government has handed over the charge of ADGP of the jail to the flamboyant IPS Harpreet Sindhu. Till now he was looking after the charge of ADGP of the Special Task Force (STF) against drugs. Moosewala was shot dead on May 29 at 5.30 pm in the Jawaharke village of Mansa. Gangsters Neeraj Bawana, Bhuppi Rana, and Kaushal Chaudhary also threatened to avenge Moosewala's death. Their target is Lawrence Gang.
