President Draupadi Murmu will address the special session of the Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly on Tuesday. Confirming this, Assembly Secretary K Habung said that she is going to address the special session of the Assembly called by the Governor.

 

On Monday, the President took part in the foundation day celebrations of the state.

President Murmu attended the 37th Foundation Day celebrations of Arunachal Pradesh on Monday as the chief guest. While congratulating the people of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram on their foundation day, he said that these states represent the rich culture and diversity of India. On this day in 1987, Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram got statehood instead of the union territory.

 

The first rays of the Sun God in India illuminate Arunachal Pradesh. This state is adorned with unique natural beauty. The various tribes here, their cultural heritage, and unity in their diversity inspire all the countrymen. She was deeply touched by the warm reception she received in Mizoram.
