Kolkata, Jan 7 (IANS) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) secretary Siddharth Nath Singh Wednesday claimed that the Trinamool Congress and the Left Front were coming together in West Bengal despite having different ideologies.
"There are ideological differences between the Left Front and TMC but the political turn that is happening in Bengal is very unique."
"The two ideologies... the two opposing parties... the Left and TMC are converging," Singh said at a party function in Howrah district's Sarat Sadan.
He also said that the anti-establishment space is gradually shifting towards the BJP and this would only intensify in the days to come.
"They (Left and TMC) are working on one principle... and as for the anti-establishment zone it is going totally towards the third party - the BJP. And in the days to come this will be more prominent," Singh said.
