The Meteorological Department had predicted moderate to dense fog on Sunday morning, following which aircraft operations at the airport were conducted under Low Visibility Procedures. Minimum visibility was recorded at 350-400 meters, which improved slightly later.
The fog had the greatest impact between 5 am and 10 am, when Low Visibility Procedures were fully in effect.
