Nepal Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is likely to address the nation on Thursday. His address may come at a time when senior leaders including Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', the second president of the Communist Party, are demanding his resignation from the post of Prime Minister. Sources in the Prime Minister's Secretariat have told that PM Oli can address the nation today. The time is not yet fixed but preparations are being made. It will be decided after the cabinet meeting on Thursday afternoon.

Meanwhile, Oli also went to Sheetal Niwas to meet President Bidhya Devi Bhandari today.

In the ruling Nepal Communist Party, former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal faction has run another bet against PM Oli. According to the Kathmandu Post report, a meeting was called by Communist Party leaders on Wednesday, in which party leaders have chalked out a major plan to chalk out a strategy against Oli.

This is the first time 31 out of a total of 44 standing committee members have stood against Oli. Among the senior leaders, including co-chairmen Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Madhav Nepal, Jhala Nath Khanal, and Bamdev Gautam, have asked the Prime Minister to step down, citing his 'failure' on various issues.

According to the Himalayan Times, Oli's recent controversial statements against India at the NCP Standing Committee meeting held on Tuesday were heated.

Khanal said that the Prime Minister promoted factional interests in the party and worked only to fulfill his interests. He said that Ollie failed to bring policies and programs and followed capitalist policies over the last three years and ignored the goals of socialism that were committed to his party.

Oli had outraged India

KP Sharma Oli had lashed out at India for power being left out due to failures. Oli has said that a conspiracy is being hatched in New Delhi and Kathmandu to take away his chair. He has cited the map dispute as the reason for this. However, the truth is that the virus that has come from China has become the biggest reason to fall from the chair for Oli, very close to China.

What did Oli say?

KP, who was a minority in the Nepal Communist Party, said at a function on Sunday, "A conspiracy is being hatched against me for releasing a new map of the country and passing it to Parliament." From the discussions of intellectuals, media reports from New Delhi, embassy activities, and meetings in different hotels in Kathmandu, it is not difficult to understand how people are openly active in removing me. But they will not get success. ''
