The Indian bowler further said, “Since 2018-19, my bowling overseas has been excellent and I have been able to win matches for the team. I am looking at this decision from the point of view of a captain or a coach and I am only speaking in his defence.
Ashwin said on this decision of the team, “The last time we were in England, the series was tied 2-2. They must have felt that a combination of four fast bowlers and one spinner would be right in England. To go to the final, he must have thought the same.
