Fear Of Falling

Why are we so afraid

to fall in love?

Is it the hurt, the heartbreak,

or not being enough?

Why are we so afraid

to even try?

To take a risk, to jump

to soar, to fly?

But in this lifetime

I can’t seem to say

I’ll find someone for me,

I’ll find someone who’ll stay.
