A statement by Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope about the death of 13 people at a Covid hospital in Virar in the Palghar district of Maharashtra could spark controversy. Referring to today's meeting of PM Narendra Modi, he said that many issues will be raised by the state government. During this time, he said that the incident at Virar's hospital is not a national issue. He said, "The fire incident in Virar is not a national issue…." Talking to the media, Rajesh Tope said, "In today's meeting with PM Narendra Modi will be talked about the supply of oxygen, remdesivir, and vaccine."

He said that the issue of a fire incident in Virar will also be raised, but this is not national news. He said that the State Government will provide financial assistance to the victims of this incident and the families of the deceased. On Wednesday, 13 people died due to fire in the hospital after 22 people died due to oxygen supply failure in a hospital in Nashik. Already, the corona hit in the state and after that, these two accidents have raised concerns. Let me tell you that many times the question has been raised by Maharashtra about the lack of oxygen, the absence of Remdesivir injection, and the supply of the vaccine.

Please tell that in the early hours of Friday, a fire broke out in Vijay Vallabh Covid Hospital of Virar in Palghar district, in which 13 patients died. The fire broke out after an explosion in an air conditioning (AC) unit and 90 patients were present in the hospital at the time of the accident, of which 18 were in the ICU, a police official said. The dead include five women and eight men. On this incident, PM Narendra Modi has also expressed condolences to the relatives of the deceased and prayed for the early recovery of the injured.
