Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Gujarat on 29-30 September. During this, he will inaugurate and lay foundation stones for various development projects worth about Rs 29,000 crore in Surat, Bhavnagar, Ahmedabad, and Ambaji. PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone of a new broad gauge line which will make it easier for the pilgrims to travel to Ambaji. Apart from this, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of the world's first CNG terminal in Bhavnagar and inaugurate the 36th National Games for the first time in Gujarat.
36th National Games begins
The 36th National Games is going to begin on Thursday at the country's largest Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Games through a colorful ceremony. During this, the PM will address about 15,000 players, coaches, and officials from 36 states and union territories of the country coming to participate in the Games.
Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur and Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will also be present during the function. These games, being organized after seven years, will be held in six cities of Gujarat till October 12.

National Games are being organized for the first time in Gujarat. These games were to be held in Goa and were hanging continuously, but the Gujarat government agreed to organize these games within just three months, which is now being embodied. These games will be held in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Surat, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, and Vadodara. 36 sports events will be organized in these games. The cycling event is to be held at IG Velodrome, Delhi.
More than one lakh people expected to come
More than one lakh people are expected to gather in the stadium during the ceremony. The capacity of the stadium is more than one lakh. The Muscat of the Games is Savaj (Lion). The last National Games were held in Kerala in 2015.

Prime Minister Modi will also inaugurate the Regional Science Center in Bhavnagar which is spread over 20 acres and has been built for Rs 100 crore. Regional Science Center (RSC) is located near Bhavnagar Das Nala, Nari Gam, Ahmedabad Highway, Bhavnagar.
