Earlier on June 14, 60,008 and on June 15, 62,214 new patients were found. In the last 24 hours, the number of active cases i.e. patients undergoing treatment decreased by 38,950. At present 8 lakh 21 thousand 392 patients are being treated.
On the previous day, only 4 states and Union Territories (UT) remained such in the country, where the number of new infected was more than the cured patients. These include Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, and Dadra-Nagar Haveli, and Daman-Diu. In the remaining 32 states, the number of patients recovering was high.

5. Uttar Pradesh
On Wednesday, 251 people were found infected here. 927 people were cured and 49 people died. So far, more than 17.03 lakh people have been infected in the state. Of these, 16.74 lakh have been cured, while 21,963 patients have died. 6,496 patients are being treated here.
6. Delhi
