There was a slight increase in the cases of corona in the country for the third consecutive day on Wednesday. 67,256 new positives were found. 2,329 infected died and 1 lakh 3 thousand 853 were cured. Earlier on June 14, 60,008 and on June 15, 62,214 new patients were found. In the last 24 hours, the number of active cases i.e. patients undergoing treatment decreased by 38,950. At present 8 lakh 21 thousand 392 patients are being treated.
On the previous day, only 4 states and Union Territories (UT) remained such in the country, where the number of new infected was more than the cured patients. These include Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, and Dadra-Nagar Haveli, and Daman-Diu. In the remaining 32 states, the number of patients recovering was high.

There are restrictions like complete lockdown in 11 states of the country. These include Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Mizoram, Goa, Telangana, West Bengal, and Puducherry. Strict restrictions have been imposed here as in the previous lockdown.
Partial lockdown in 21 states/UTs
There is a partial lockdown in 21 states and union territories of the country. That is, there are restrictions here, but there are also exemptions. These include Kerala, Bihar, Delhi, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu, and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, Tripura, Andhra Pradesh, and Gujarat.

On Wednesday, 10,107 people were found infected here. 10,567 people were cured and 1,236 people died. So far 59.34 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 56.79 lakh people have been cured, while 1.15 lakh people have died. Presently 1.36 lakh patients are being treated.
2. Chhattisgarh
On Wednesday, 573 people were found corona positive in the state. 1,152 people were cured and 12 died. So far 9.88 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 9.64 lakh people have been cured, while 13,354 people have died. 11,126 patients are undergoing treatment.
3. Gujarat
On Wednesday, 298 people were found corona positive in the state. 935 people were cured and 5 died. So far, about 8.21 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 8.03 lakh people have been cured, while 10,012 patients have died. Here 8,242 infected people are being treated.
4. Rajasthan
280 people were found corona infected here on Wednesday. 928 people were cured and 9 died. So far, 9.50 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 9.36 lakh people have been cured, while 8,865 patients have died. At present, 4,962 patients are undergoing treatment.
5. Uttar Pradesh
On Wednesday, 251 people were found infected here. 927 people were cured and 49 people died. So far, more than 17.03 lakh people have been infected in the state. Of these, 16.74 lakh have been cured, while 21,963 patients have died. 6,496 patients are being treated here.
6. Delhi
On Wednesday, 212 people were found corona positive in Delhi. 516 people were cured and 25 died. So far 14.31 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, more than 14.04 lakh people have been cured, while 24,876 patients have died. 2,749 patients are being treated here.
7. Madhya Pradesh
160 new cases were reported here on Wednesday. 463 people were cured and 34 people died. So far 7.88 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 7.76 lakh people have been cured, while 8,649 people died. 3,273 patients are currently undergoing treatment.
