Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has achieved great success under its Moon Mission Chandrayaan-3. According to ISRO, the launch vehicle's CE-20 cryogenic engine was successfully tested for the Chandrayaan-3 mission.
The test was conducted for a planned duration of 25 seconds at the High Altitude Test Facility of the ISRO Propulsion Complex at Mahendragiri, Tamil Nadu on February 24, ISRO officials said. In a statement issued by the space agency on Monday, it was said that all the parameters were found satisfactory during the test. The cryogenic engine will be integrated with the propellant tank, stage structure, and associated fluid lines for fully integrated flight.
Earlier, ISRO had successfully tested the lander of Chandrayaan-3. ISRO had said that EMI/EMC testing for satellite missions is carried out to ensure the functionality of the satellite system in the space environment and its compatibility with expected electromagnetic levels. The space agency had said, this test is a major milestone towards the construction of the satellite.
