Patna. Things are getting worse in Bihar in the second wave of coronavirus infection. Whether it is getting new cases everyday or total active patients or death figures, everyone is looking to create new records every day, in such a situation, if we still do not warn, then the situation will be terrible. Because of this, on Friday, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is going to review the situation in a high-level meeting. Important decisions can be taken in this meeting. It is believed that the government can decide on the lockdown or night curfew in the meeting. After taking these decisions in the all-party meeting on Saturday, the opinion of all political parties will be known, then after the consultation, will give a final seal on the decision.
It may be noted that all previous records of coronavirus infection in Bihar were broken on Thursday. A maximum of 6133 new cases was received and a maximum of 27 deaths was also reported. With this, the total number of active cases of infection has increased to 29078 in Bihar. The point of concern is the decrease in the recovery rate with the transition rate going above 6.
The condition of coronavirus infection will be reviewed
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has convened a meeting of top officials of all concerned departments on Friday, a day before the all-party meeting, chaired by Governor Fagu Chauhan, convened on Saturday as per the instructions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to deal with the crisis of coronavirus in Bihar. During this period, the condition of corona infection, number of beds in hospitals, supply of oxygen, and treatment arrangements will be reviewed. Ministers and officials of all concerned departments including Health Minister Mangal Panday will be present in this meeting to be held at 4:30 pm through video conferencing.
Decisions can be taken in the meeting, big and tough decisions
It is believed that in the meeting, major decisions can be taken to prevent coronavirus infection. On Thursday, in response to the media's question about the implementation of the lockdown, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that the government will take any major decision if needed. Given the statement of the Chief Minister and the current situation of corona infection, there is a possibility of such a big and tough decision. These decisions can be till lockdown and night curfew as well as postponing the panchayat election or conducting it safely.
The final decision will be taken after consideration in the all-party meeting
The government will decide its opinion before the all-party meeting on Saturday. Whatever will be decided in today's meeting, will be considered in the all-party meeting convened on Saturday under the chairmanship of Governor Fagu Chauhan. In this case, the opinion of the leaders of the ruling and opposition are also coming to the fore. Congress has said that the lockdown was imposed on the number of cases received last time, this time more cases are being received. Bharatiya Janata Party leader Pramranjan Patel said that after knowing the views of all in the all-party meeting, the government can take a concrete decision. On behalf of Janata Dal-United, Neeraj Kumar has also said that the government will decide after reviewing what can be better in the public interest.
