The date of the budget session of Parliament has been announced amid the increasing corona infection in the country. The budget session of Parliament will begin from January 31. It is being told that due to the increasing cases of Corona, the work of both the houses (Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha) is being considered in a shift for the budget session.

 

more than 700 employees corona infected

 

Significantly, the corona infection is also rapidly taking the employees of Parliament in its grip. Between 9 and 12 January, more than 300 Parliament employees have been found infected with Corona. Earlier till January, more than 400 employees were found infected during surprise tests. Sources said that so far about 718 Parliament employees have come under the grip of corona infection. In such a situation, work can be done according to the shift in both the houses, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla had taken information about health safety measures in the House on Tuesday. Om Birla also inspected the Parliament House Complex. Let us inform you that the Covid-19 test facility is available at Parliament House Annexe for Members of Parliament, officers, and employees of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha Secretariats. Om Birla had also visited it.

 

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Rajya Sabha Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu had also directed the General Secretaries of both the Houses to suggest measures for the safe conduct of the upcoming budget session amid the third wave of Corona pandemic.
