Alphabet's company Google will slow down its restoration process in the remaining months of this year. This is being done because of the possible slowdown in the coming months. This was said by the company's CEO Sundar Pichai. This information has been given by Pichai in an email sent to the employees of the company on Tuesday.
According to a report in Bloomberg News, the Sundar Pichai company has said in an email sent to employees that in the years 2022 and 2023, the company's focus will be only on engineering, technical specialist, and recruitment in important positions.
Sundar Pichai has said that we need to be more entrepreneurial in the company's journey ahead. We will have to work in the future with more urgency, sharper focus, and a greater appetite for success than on normal days.
Pichai said that in some cases this means that where investments overlap, processes need to be streamlined and consolidated.
Sundar Pichai begins his email with an uncertain global economic outlook to keep recession concerns top of mind.
Let us tell you that Google has a history among the companies in the technology sector that it has been liberal in terms of jobs and recruitment compared to other companies even during the economic crisis. In the past, more than a decade ago, during the economic recession of 2008-2009, Internet giant Google halted its recruitment process.
