New cases of corona are being seen in the country, as well as active cases are also decreasing, but the pace of infection is increasing in Delhi and Kerala. On Tuesday, a total of 38 thousand 478 cases were reported in the country, compared to 44 thousand 671 patients were cured. 471 patients died. There was a decrease of 6 thousand 672 in the active case.
On the other hand, 1 lakh 3 thousand cases have come in Delhi in the last 17 days, 93 thousand 370 cases have come in Kerala. 68 thousand 734 in Maharashtra, 60 thousand 566 in West Bengal, 35 thousand 597 in Haryana, while 31 thousand 433 patients have been found in Rajasthan.
So far, 89.12 lakh cases have been reported in the country. Of these, 83.33 lakh patients have been cured, while 1.31 lakh infected have died. 4 lakh 46 thousand patients are undergoing treatment.
Health Ministry said - there was a lot of negligence in festivals
The Union Health Ministry said on Tuesday that during the festivals, people across the country are very negligent. Its results will be seen now. Ministry Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said that the number of patients has come down now, but the next two weeks are very important. During this period, corona cases may increase rather than decrease.
The ministry also expressed concern over the increase in the number of cases and deaths in Delhi. Said that the reason for increasing the number of cases is to be stable. In June, on an average 50–57 thousand Tests were held in Delhi. After this, the testing rate stabilized instead of increasing. Meanwhile, a large number of people were unable to trace and the corona continued to spread. Now the central government has asked the Delhi government to increase the testing. There will be 1 lakh to 1.20 lakh tests every day.
What did the Ministry of Health and ICMR say?
There are now 3500 ICU beds available in Delhi. It has to be increased to 6 thousand in the next few days. Within two days 537 new ICU beds have been prepared at Sardar Patel Covid Hospital.
The serum institute vaccine is in a third phase trial. There are currently 5 vaccine trials in phase. Of these, the final trial of 2 has started.
The recovery rate in the country has been 93%. Last week, an average of 46,700 people recovered every day. On average, 40 thousand 300 new cases were detected.
So far, 12 crore 65 lakh tests have been done.
Overall 7% of cases were found in the country. Now the daily positivity rate is 4.1%.
Last week, 211 new cases were found in every 10 lakh population. This figure is much lower than other countries.
Corona updates
Because of the increasing cases of Covid-19, many states have banned Chhath Puja in public places. These include Delhi, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Odisha, and Maharashtra. State governments have said that on the day of Chhath Puja, no one can worship on public rivers, ponds.
According to the order, devotees can worship at their home. On the other hand, the Jharkhand government has lifted the ban on Chhath Puja due to heavy opposition. On Monday itself, the Hemant Soren government had issued an order banning Chhath Puja in public places.
Because of the corona epidemic, the Uttar Pradesh government has issued an advisory for Chhath Puja. Devotees have been requested to worship at home or near home. The local administration has made arrangements at the traditional places of Chhath near the river, pond, and ponds.
In Dibrugarh, Assam, the Chhath Puja Committee has appealed to the devotees to worship at home after this. They have been told that they should not gather on the river, pond, and ponds on this festival.
Despite the government's approval in Maharashtra, single-screen theaters in Pune will remain closed. Laxminaran Theater owner Dilip Borawake said that people are still afraid of Corona, even if the theaters are opened, the audience will not get it.
Degree colleges will be opened in Karnataka from Thursday after eight months. However, students will not be allowed to enter the campus without showing a negative certificate of Corona.
The concern of the government has increased due to the continuous increase of Corona cases in Delhi. Delhi's government is preparing to close the market. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Tuesday that a small level lockdown can also be imposed to prevent corona.

2. Madhya Pradesh
Within the last 24 hours, 922 people were found infected in the state. 848 people recovered and 10 died. So far, 1 lakh 85 thousand 446 people have been infected. Of these, 9060 patients are being treated, while 1 lakh 73 thousand 284 people have been cured. The number of people who lost their lives to infection is now 3102.
3. Rajasthan
On Tuesday, 2194 people were found infected in the state. 1834 people recovered and 11 died. So far, 2 lakh 30 thousand 180 people have been infected. Among these, 19 thousand 33 patients are being treated, while 2 lakh 9 thousand 58 people have been cured. The number of people who lost their lives to infection has now increased to 2089.
4. Maharashtra
The report of 2732 people came positive on Tuesday. 5123 people were recovered and 68 patients died. So far 17 lakh 52 thousand 509 people have been infected. Among these, 81 thousand 925 patients are being treated, while 16 lakh 23 thousand 503 people have been cured. The number of people who lost their lives to infection has now reached 46 thousand 102.
