Afghanistan: 55 Sikhs were brought from Afghanistan to Delhi, said - the situation in Kabul is not good, hair was cut in jail

After the re-election of the Taliban in Afghanistan last year, the work of repatriating the remaining Indian diaspora is also going on. On Sunday, 55 Afghani Sikhs were brought to India by special aircraft. He told that the situation there is not good. He also complained about the detention of minorities and cutting their hair in jail.

 

 

Baljit, an Afghan Sikh, said that the situation in Afghanistan is not very good. I was imprisoned for four months. The Taliban have betrayed us, they cut our hair in prison. I am grateful and happy to return to India and our religion.

 

 

Sukhbir Singh Khalsa, an Afghan Sikh, told the media on reaching Delhi that 'we want to thank the Indian government for giving us the visa immediately and helping us reach India. The families of many of us are still left there. 30-35 people are still trapped in Afghanistan.
