Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly is almost certain to step down from the post of BCCI President. On this Ganguly has said in Kolkata that you cannot always play for the team nor can you always be in administration.
During this, the BCCI President gave a hint of the future and said- 'They are thinking of doing something big and moving forward. He has been an administrator for a long time and now wants to do something else.
50-year-old Ganguly said- 'I was the President of the Cricket Association of Bengal for 5 years. I have been the President of BCCI for years. You cannot always play in the team or be in the administration.
Let us inform here that it was decided to remove Ganguly from this post 3 days ago. Media reports claimed that Ganguly had not even filed his nomination for the post of Board President.
