After getting infected with the virus, a person starts showing sudden symptoms. This virus reaches humans from fruit bats. The death rate of people infected with this is 88 percent. Symptoms of the Marburg virus begin suddenly in a patient over two to 21 days. Its main symptoms are fever, chills, and headache. A few days after these symptoms, a rash appears on the chest, back, and abdomen. Apart from this, vomiting, chest pain, sore throat, abdominal pain, and diarrhea can be symptoms of this virus.

This can affect the central nervous system, causing you to have confusion, aggression, and irritability. The victim may die eight to nine days after the onset of the virus.
There is currently no vaccine for Marburg and no drugs or treatments to treat it. But patients can be helped. However, patient care is necessary to reduce the symptoms. Give the patient plenty of fluids and try to maintain electrolyte balance. This can increase the risk of death to a great extent.
