Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and five others died in a plane crash in Pune district on Wednesday morning. Officials said the accident occurred when the aircraft was attempting to land in the Baramati area of ​​Pune.

According to news agency PTI, the Learjet 45 aircraft (registration VT-SSK), operated by private operator VSR, crashed during landing at Baramati airport. The accident occurred around 8:45 AM on Wednesday. Local administration and airport security personnel arrived immediately after the crash, but no one could be rescued alive.
