Delhi Police had sought five-day custody of the accused. The police stated that anti-national slogans were raised in the presence of international leaders and prominent figures. Their custody is necessary to apprehend the other accused who have fled. The police stated that three policemen were injured and their mobile phones needed to be recovered to verify whether they received funding. The court then questioned the investigating officer about why five days' custody was needed. The investigating officer stated that there was a deep-rooted conspiracy, that the other accused fled the scene, and that custody was needed for a proper investigation.

The lawyer for the accused stated that the protesters were affiliated with a political party and that they protested at Bharat Mandapam. They did not break any law but exercised their right to protest. The protest was peaceful, and no violence was visible in any of the videos. Keel also stated that they were educated and possessed degrees.

Meanwhile, during the protest against the Congress, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva said, "This incident clearly shows that Rahul Gandhi has stooped to such a level that he has gone from opposing the Prime Minister to opposing the country. This AI Summit was not a party event, but a national event, with representatives from all over the world attending." What were you trying to show with this? This was to tarnish the nation's reputation, and we oppose it.

Meanwhile, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari said, "Congress has committed an anti-national act that the people of India will not forgive. This attempt to defame the AI Impact Summit, which is India's pride today, through hired goons is treason, sedition, and the people of the country will respond to it."
