Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti. Today, the birth anniversary of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar is celebrated across the country. Today, on April 14, he was born in a village in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh. Tributes are being paid across the country to Ambedkar, who is considered to be the messiah of Dalits and the architect of the Constitution. The central government has also declared this day a holiday across India. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi has paid tribute to Ambedkar by tweeting. On this occasion, President Ram Nath Kovind, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tributes to Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar in Parliament on his birth anniversary today. During this, Congress President Sonia Gandhi, senior Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, and others also paid their respects.
