There was a ruckus in East Delhi's Mandawali area over the removal of the alleged illegal railing of a temple. When the administration tried to remove this railing, the local people opposed it. A large number of people reached there and started raising slogans against the action of the administration. After which the police took charge. During this, there has been a clash between the local people and the police. Seeing the situation deteriorating, paramilitary forces also had to be called there. During this, information about the clash between the local people and the security personnel deployed on the spot is being received.

According to the information, a temple has been built on the roadside in the Mandawali area. There is a railing around it. The administration has termed the railing as illegal. The administration had decided today to take action to remove the railing, in this regard the administration had asked the police. The police provided adequate security force at the request of the administration. But as soon as they came to know about the action of removing the railing, the people of the area gathered in front of the temple and started protesting against the action of the administration. The local people feared that the administration would also take action to demolish the temple. During this, there have been many clashes between the police and the local people. After dispersing the people, the police got the railing removed.

According to media reports, women were singing bhajans in the temple when the administration arrived for its action. Protesting the action of the administration, people raised slogans. On the other hand, the DM told that the railing of the temple is being broken, not the temple. The work of clearing the footpath had to be done by removing the railing. At the same time, the local people say that the temple has been here for many years. No one ever protested. No one ever felt that illegal construction has been done here.
