After dispersing the people, the police got the railing removed.
According to media reports, women were singing bhajans in the temple when the administration arrived for its action. Protesting the action of the administration, people raised slogans. On the other hand, the DM told that the railing of the temple is being broken, not the temple. The work of clearing the footpath had to be done by removing the railing.
