The explosion occurred again on Monday at 6:30 am in the area of Heritage Street near Sri Harimandir Sahib, at the same place where it happened late on Saturday. There was not much traffic on the road at the time of the incident. Many senior police officers have reached the spot, the investigation is going on.
Members of the forensic team have captured several samples. Where the blast took place, there was also a car standing there, whose glasses were broken. The police are engaged in getting the footage of the CCTV cameras installed nearby. At present, the police are denying the incident of being explosive. DCP Parminder Singh Bhandal also reached the spot on Heritage Street to investigate.
