Three people have been arrested in connection with the clash between two groups during the procession of Lord Ganesha's idol in Karnataka. Shops and vehicles were targeted in this clash, which created tension in the area. However, the situation in the city is calm at the moment. Additional police forces have been deployed in the area. Along with this, prohibitory orders prohibiting the gathering of more than four people in the area have also been implemented till September 14.

With the arrest of these three people, 55 people have been arrested in this case so far. A team of experts from the Forensic Science Laboratory visited the spot on Thursday to collect evidence. Mandya Superintendent of Police Mallikarjuna Baladandi said, "The situation is peaceful at the moment and so far 52 people have been arrested in this case. We have arrested three more people in this case. We have also deployed additional police forces and have also imposed prohibitory orders."
