An experiment in Team India after Asia Cup: Squad of 19 players, not 15 for Australia-South Africa; To get the combination of T20 World Cup

After the defeat in the Asia Cup, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is going to do a big experiment on Team India. The reason for this is the T20 World Cup to be held from October 16. The board wants to select the best combination for the team for this big tournament. Now know what this big experiment is. Bhaskar was told by a BCCI source that there will be a change in the team squad for the matches to be played with Australia and South Africa coming on the tour of India. The squad for these two series will not be of 15 members, but 19 members.

Australia-Africa will come from 20 September to 11 October

The Australia team will visit India from 20 to 25 September. Australia has a three-match T20I series. South Africa's team is coming to India in the last week of September. There is a series of 3 T20 and 3 ODI matches with the African team from 28 September to 11 October. The first T20 matches will be played.

Now know 3 reasons for this experiment...

1. After the defeat in the Asia Cup, the team management feels that the search for the perfect combination has not been completed yet, which is needed for the World Cup.

2. In the absence of Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel in the Asia Cup, the team's pace attack was looking weak. This department faltered after Avesh Khan fell ill in the middle of the tournament. The team had lost to Pakistan and Sri Lanka in Super 4 matches.

3. The team management wants to complete the search for the perfect combination in the home series against Australia and South Africa before the World Cup.

Deepak Chahar and Arshdeep

Bumrah and Harshal Patel are returning. In such a situation, someone in the team in the Asia Cup, Avesh Khan, Arshdeep Singh, and Deepak Chahar, may have to go out. After Bumrah's return, the team is yet to decide who will be with Harshal Patel as his partner in the team.

That's why the board can give a chance to Deepak Chahar and Arshdeep.

Arshdeep Singh also performed brilliantly in the Asia Cup. Arshdeep is an excellent death overs bowler. Deepak Chahar has a swing and can bat in crucial times.

Deepak Hooda

Even in the batting line, who will be fed at number 4, the team has not been able to decide. Deepak Hooda has also got a few chances. Deepak's plus point is that he is also a spinner. Surya Kumar's place in the team is confirmed, but his number is also not fixed.

Ravi Bishnoi

Ravindra Jadeja is injured. He is set to be out of the World Cup after a knee operation. His replacement has also not been decided. Management can try Axar Patel or Ravi Bishnoi. Ravi Vishnoi bowled well in the Asia Cup and also took wickets. However, he did not get much chance. At the same time, Akshar is also a batsman.

Team India's 19-member squad may be like this

1. Rohit Sharma (Captain)

2. KL Rahul (Vice-captain)

3. Virat Kohli

4. Suryakumar Yadav

5. Rishabh Pant (Wicketkeeper)

6. Deepak Hooda

7. Dinesh Karthik (wicketkeeper)

8. Hardik Pandya

9. Jasprit Bumrah

10. Harshal Patel

11. R. Ashwin

12. Yuzvendra Chahal

13. Ravi Bishnoi

14. Bhuvneshwar Kumar

15. Arshdeep Singh

16. Avesh Khan

17. Axar Patel

18. Deepak Chahar

19. Mohammed Shami

Team India's worst phase in 11 years

What does a cricket team need to become number one in the whole world - good selectors, good players, great supporting staff, and a captain who takes everyone along? Team India has all this, but the Indian team is looking in the worst phase of the last 11 years.

Batting improved in Asia Cup, bowlers disappointed

India was expected to reach the final of the Asia Cup, but it did not happen. The team lost the toss in all the matches. Whether there is dew or not, the toss is a big factor in Dubai. Each time the team had to bat first. Things clicked for Team India when they faced Afghanistan. After the performance of the team, some areas need to be worked on. In this, improving the bowling in the slog overs is very important.

Ganguly calls Kohli better than himself

BCCI Chief and former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly have described Virat Kohli as better than himself. Ganguly said after Virat's century against Afghanistan - 'His skill in batting is more than me. Virat is a better batsman than me. We both have played for the country at different times. Kohli is playing now and he is way ahead of me in this game.
