Atishi Hunger Strike: Atishi's hunger strike ends, the water minister was on a hunger strike for 5 days demanding water from Haryana

Delhi's Water Minister Atishi, who was on an indefinite hunger strike demanding water from the Haryana government, became seriously ill on the fifth day. On Tuesday morning, she was admitted to the ICU ward of Delhi's Lok Nayak Hospital (LNJP) for treatment.

 

According to the latest information, Atishi's indefinite hunger strike ended after she was admitted to the hospital. Aam Aadmi Party Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh has given this information in a press conference.

 

"Water Minister Atishi was on hunger strike for the last 5 days to get the water due to the people of Delhi. Delhi should get 613 MGD water from the Haryana government, but for the last three weeks, Delhi has been getting less than 100 MGD water continuously. Due to this, more than 28 lakh people were facing water problems. Atishi made all efforts to get the water due to the people of Delhi, but when no solution was found, she started this indefinite hunger strike."

 

Will raise the issue of Delhi's water crisis in Lok Sabha

The AAP leader said, "Today we are writing a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to get Delhi its rightful share of water. LG Sahab has also spoken to the Haryana Chief Minister. After which this indefinite fast is being stopped. Now we will raise our voice in Parliament along with all the opposition parties to get Delhi its rightful share of water."

 

Sugar level had reached 36

 

According to Aam Aadmi Party leaders, Atishi's blood sugar level dropped to 36 at 3 am, after which she was admitted to the hospital. She has not been eating anything for the last five days.
