The Popular Front of India (PFI) has prepared a plan to make India an Islamic nation by 2047. PFI believes that educated and affluent Muslims will never stand together, so its target is Pasmanda, or economically weaker Muslims and socially backward Hindus. This claim has been made in the intelligence report of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
This report has been shared with all the central agencies. After this, to tighten the noose on PFI, the government started Operation Octopus in collaboration with agencies. NIA, ED, police of 11 states, CRPF, and ATS were involved in the operation.
In the first episode, on September 22, raids took place at 96 places in 11 states and more than 106 PFI workers were arrested. This is the first time that all the agencies together have taken such a big action on PFI. The second episode may start soon in the southern and western states.
An officer told us PFI's plan
Bhaskar has received this intelligence report from the Ministry of Home Affairs. It contains the detailed plan of Mission-2047 and how it is to be accomplished. According to the report, PFI plans to tarnish the image of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and turn 60% of the country's population against it. Out of this 60%, 50% are from SC/ST and OBC communities and 10% are Muslim.
Money being sent from abroad to the NRI account
In the first raid of Operation Octopus, it has been revealed that PFI is getting money from abroad on a large scale. The ED has also told the court that members of PFI living outside India were sending money to their NRI accounts in India. They were transferred to the leaders of the organization to avoid the Foreign Funding Regulation Law.
PFI leaders often visit UAE
The NIA, in its remand application, has told the court that leaders of Kerala's Jamaat-e-Islami, PFI, and its allies Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) and National Development Front (PDF) frequently visit the UAE. He mostly tours Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The Karnataka Chapter of the Emirates India Fraternity Forum (EIFF) and the Indian Cultural Society (ICS) is acting as the front of the PFI in Dubai.
Real estate and money laundering funding
PFI is allegedly getting money in India through hawala. The people of the organization are also investing huge amounts in real estate. According to sources, a builder associated with PFI in the Chavakadu district of Kerala is investing in real estate in Abu Dhabi. Apart from this, people associated with PFI are also in the business of 'Car Rent. They have a huge network working in Kerala.
Funding is also deposited in the name of Haj
PFI is active in Saudi Arabia under the name of ISF and IFF. In the name of helping Indians during Haj, the organization raises a huge amount. This money is brought to India through hawala and gold smuggling. PFI also sends funds here through an e-wallet in the name of legal aid and community service.
Organization named Social Forum in Oman
PFI works in collaboration with ISF and IFF under the name Social Forum in Oman. The Kerala branch of PFI, the National Development Front (NDF), is also active in Oman. Investigating agencies have come to know that it has sent Rs 44 lakh to PFI through hawala. The leader of the NDF and PFI in Oman, Ashfaq Chaikkinakath Puyil, has been entrusted with the fundraising. This money is sent to PFI through an organization named 'Rehab India Foundation.
Rooted in Turkey through student
Intelligence reports claim that PFI has taken root in Turkey with the help of Indian students. He sent a student named Naushad to Turkey to do his Ph.D. at Sabahatin Jam University. He was there to raise funding for PFI.
Active in the name of KISF in Kuwait
Kuwait Indian Social Forum (KISF) is the shell organization of PFI. It takes money from people in the name of annual membership. He claims that the purpose of raising money is to help Muslim interests. The group targets Kuwait's wealthy employees and businessmen. They are later radicalized by showing videos of violence and the demolition of the Babri Masjid.
PFI working in Oman as CF
In Oman, PFI runs under the name Cultural Forum. People from the Malayalee community are associated with this. These organizations were supporters of the Islamic State in Syria. One of them, Muhammad Fahimi, used to sell vehicles to the ISIS network in Syria. ISF, IFF, and CF raise money from Indians settled in Qatar in the name of PFI and SDPI.
PFI does not keep records of its members
PFI does not keep records of its members. Therefore, it becomes difficult for the agencies to take action. After the recent action, we got in touch with many PFI office bearers, but most of their numbers were switched off. The official website of the organization http://www.popularfrontindia.org/ is also not open. All his social media accounts are inactive since 23 September.
1. Is PFI's plan to make India an Islamic nation?
Answer: The organization has already made it clear that we had spoken about the Islamic nation regarding the recommendations of the Sachar Committee. We were talking about strengthening the country. A roadmap was prepared for that. The media has wrongly projected the creation of a Muslim nation. How can a community of 14% make a country a Muslim nation?
2. There are allegations that your organization is giving arms training to the youth?
Answer: This is wrong. PFI is only associated with social work. We never supported violence. Never heard that anyone has been given weapons training here. This is just a rumour.
3. Is the PFI getting funding from abroad?
Answer: We have a social organization, which did a lot of work during the Corona period. We sent PPE kits and medicines to people's homes. For this people helped by donating. Many of them live abroad. We have an account of every donation. If we do something wrong, action will be taken against us.
