Jaishankar met families of 8 Indians who were sentenced to death in Qatar, and said to take all possible steps for their release

Jaishankar in Qatar External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met the families of 8 Indians who were sentenced to death in Qatar. During the meeting, Jaishankar stressed that the Government of India is attaching utmost importance to the case and is working expeditiously to stop the conviction of all Indians.

During the conversation, Jaishankar said that I completely feel the concerns and pain of the families. He said the government would continue to make all efforts to ensure their release. Will also closely coordinate with the families in this regard.
