Sambhal violence: 'Kill them by setting them on fire...', shouted the crowd; MLA's son and Burke instigated them; big revelation in FIR

A copy of the FIR has surfaced in the Sambhal violence. The FIR has revealed a sensational truth about the Sambhal violence. SP MP Zia-ur-Rehman Barq has been named accused number one in the FIR. SP MLA's son Suhail Iqbal has been named accused number two in the FIR. Apart from these two, a case has been registered against 2750 people. The police have registered seven FIRs in the violence. The police are continuing to raid in search of the accused of the riot in Sambhal. So far, 27 accused have been arrested, including three minors. More than a dozen people are in custody.

 

Meanwhile, the FIR copy has surfaced. It mentions that SP MP Ziaur Rehman Barq incited the crowd to gain political advantage. He also violated the communal atmosphere. Two days before the violence, SP MP Zia-ur-Rehman Barq had gone to Jama Masjid without the permission of the administration.

Attempt to disrupt the process of survey of the mosque.

 

According to the FIR, on November 24, on the orders of the court, a survey of Jama Masjid of Sambhal was being conducted, during which a crowd of people gathered. The police tried to convince the crowd, but the crowd was not ready to listen. The crowd tried to disrupt the process of a survey of Jama Masjid.

 

The crowd also looted tear gas shells.

 

On Sunday morning around 8:45, the crowd started pelting stones at the police. During this, some miscreants looted the magazine of the 9 mm pistol of Sub Inspector Sanjeev Kumar. They also tried to loot the pistol, along with this, they looted rubber bullets, blank cartridges, plastic pellets, and other items from the jawans by beating them. The crowd also looted tear gas shells. As part of the conspiracy, stones were pelted at the police. The crowd fired at the police.

 

Suhail Iqbal was in the middle of the crowd.

 

According to the FIR, SP MLA's son Suhail Iqbal was also present in the crowd that came to disrupt the survey process on November 24. Suhail had instigated the crowd, saying that MP Zia-ur-Rehman Barq was with us. We are with you, we will not let anything happen to you people. You people fulfill your plans, and on hearing this the crowd became even more furious. Meanwhile, a voice came from the crowd that the survey would not be allowed. It is written in the FIR that the crowd has been instigated to take political advantage.

According to the FIR, the police had received information that a crowd was gathering at the Nakhasa intersection in protest against the survey of Jama Masjid. Sub-inspector Nishant Malik reached the spot with his team. Meanwhile, at around 12:35 pm, the crowd broke the CCTV cameras and attacked the policemen.

 

It is told in the FIR that the crowd had sticks and bricks in their hands. They attacked the policemen to kill them. A government leopard motorcycle (Apache number UP38AG0168) and a private bullet motorcycle (UP38M8166) were set on fire.

 

Attempt to snatch the pistol

 

According to the FIR, an attempt was also made to snatch the pistol of the policemen during the violence. Sub-inspector Nishant Malik saved the pistol by holding it firmly, but the magazine of the pistol and 10 9mm bullets present in it were looted by the miscreants.

 

'Will not allow survey in mosque'

 

According to the FIR registered, a voice was heard from the crowd shouting to snatch the weapons and cartridges of these policemen, set them on fire, and kill them, no one should be able to escape. We will not allow the survey of our mosque.

 

All of them have been charged with murderous attacks, damaging government property, and disrupting public order. It has also been told in the FIR that the police fired 10 rounds of plastic pellets and tear gas shells from anti-riot guns to control the situation. After additional police force reached the spot, the rioters were dispersed.

 

Investigation continues

 

The police have registered an FIR and intensified the investigation into the case. Raids are being conducted to arrest the accused. The District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police visited the spot and appealed to the people to maintain peace.
