Increasing Cases of Violence Against the Hindu Community

Police say that the disappearance of the auto-rickshaw suggests the murder was committed with the intention of robbery. However, other motives have not been ruled out. This incident comes at a time when incidents of violence, threats, and insecurity against the Hindu community are being continuously reported in Bangladesh. Human rights organizations say that weak action and delayed justice have created an atmosphere of fear among the minority community.
