On Tuesday, he was produced before the sixth Metropolitan Magistrate of Chittagong Kazi Shariful Islam amid tight security. However, his bail plea was rejected and he was sent to jail.

The court has ordered the Attorney General to give information about the government's steps on Thursday. The petition demanded a ban on ISKCON in Bangladesh.
