The Aam Aadmi Party, which is facing the allegation of being an outsider in the Punjab Assembly elections, may soon play a big card. According to sources, the name of Bhagwant can be announced by the Aam Aadmi Party as the CM candidate. If the CM face is announced by AAP, then it will be in a position to surround the Congress, BJP alliance, from whose side the CM face has not been announced yet. Party sources say that there seems to be a consensus that Bhagwant Mann's name should be announced as the CM face. Bhagwant Mann is an MP from the Sangrur seat and is also the state president of the party.

The Congress party has made Charanjit Singh Channi the CM after the resignation of Captain Amarinder Singh at the end of last year. But till now the Congress is avoiding announcing that even after the elections, Channi will be the CM or a new leader will be given the command. There is also a tussle between Sidhu and Channi's overall issues. Even Sidhu, while advising the high command recently, said that Congress should announce the CM face in the state before the elections. He also said that if Congress does not do this then it will have to suffer. It is clear from this that the announcement of the face on behalf of the Aam Aadmi Party will benefit him and will help him to surround the Congress.

Delay in an announcement due to Kejriwal being Corona positive

Sources say that it could have been announced on Tuesday itself, but it has been postponed due to party convener Arvind Kejriwal being Corona positive. In early December, Bhagwant Mann had claimed that a senior BJP leader had approached him asking him to join the Aam Aadmi Party and offered to make him a Union minister in return. Mann had accused the BJP of breaking up political parties, citing the examples of Goa, Bengal, Madhya Pradesh. The BJP, however, had rejected Bhagwant Mann's allegations and said that if so, he should publicly reveal the name of the leader who had made the offer to him.

After the fire in Chandigarh Municipal Corporation, 'AAP' on the front foot

The Aam Aadmi Party has got a maximum of 14 seats out of 35 in the municipal elections of Chandigarh. With this, the BJP has withdrawn from power in the municipal corporation, which had won 20 seats in the last election. After this victory, Arvind Kejriwal had said that this is still a trailer. The original film will be shown in the Punjab elections. Not only this, but Congress has also won 8 seats instead of 4 seats last time and BJP has to be satisfied with only 12 seats instead of 20.
