The film is running at a time when many Bollywood films have disappointed. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is now nearing the Rs 150 crore mark and may cross this milestone in the coming weeks. However, from Friday, June 3, the film's challenges will increase as three films hit the theatres.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has a collection of 4.85 crores on the 12th day of its release on Tuesday. With this, the net collection of the film for 12 days has been 133.09 crores. If we take the average daily earnings, then the film has collected 11 crores every day. As per trade reports, the price of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 tickets has not been increased. Despite that, this collection of the film shows that the film has got good footfall, which is a true measure of the popularity of a film.
If we look at the collections of the film in the second week, then on the second Friday i.e. on the eighth day of release, the film collected 6.52 crores. After this, there was a tremendous jump in the collections for the rest of the second weekend, and the film collected 11.35 crores and 12.77 crores on Saturday and Sunday respectively. On the second Monday, the film collected 5.55 crores. The film, which was released on May 20, had a net collection of 92.05 crores in the first week.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is a horror comedy film, directed by Anees Bazmee. The film also stars Tabu and Rajpal Yadav in important roles. This is the second film in the 2007 Akshay Kumar starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise. Bhool Bhulaiyaa was directed by Priyadarshan.
